Team Building Brick Adventure
Desert Island Rescue
The Adventurers Guild have announced an Extraordinary General Meeting to discuss a top-secret mission… well, just between you and me they’re going to reveal that 'Al the Adventurer' has found the long-lost Treasure of the Brick Tribe… but there’s a snag… he’s only gone and got himself marooned on the desert island and needs rescuing. That’s where your team come in!!!
The team must work together to decipher clues to find the map, build models to travel the unpredictable seas, and work as a team to find the best way of rescuing Al... and revel in the find of the century! |
Think of it as a cross between a team building event... an escape room... and a LEGO® Serious Play® session! All these things meld together to create a fun and dynamic event that can be tailored to any size group, and different timings too.
Unlike many other team building events where the loudest person in room gets their way, or the most active person forges the way forwards... this Team Building Adventure – Desert Island Rescue, allows EVERYONE to become involved and be part of the success!
"You seem to have thought of everything..."
"As an LSP facilitator, I love using Lego as much as possible. I'm so glad I came across this product and I can't wait to deliver my first team building session. I'm impressed by the quality of the videos and PDF's that come within the pack. You seem to have thought of everything and your explanations make it really easy for me to understand. Thank you :)" Lou O'Connell MBE (Training, Coaching and Consultation.)

“Thank you to Nikie Forster from Curious Lighthouse Learning who created a fun filled engaging team building workshops for Management and our Engineering team. Nikie was a pleasure to work with, she was full of energy, insights, and ideas. The sessions were a great success with very positive feedback from attendees. I look forward to working with Nikie in the future”. Joan Kennedy - Global Senior Director, HR
You might already be sold on the idea, but if you need some extras reasons why adding the Team Building LEGO® Adventure to your toolkit is a great idea (Or you need to persuade someone else to allocate budget towards it...) here's a few extra things to help:
Not all team building events are equal!
There are many different types of team-building activities that can help improve communication, collaboration, and teamwork including:
Team Building LEGO® Adventure combines ALL these types of teambuilding in one place to provide a fun and purposeful event that EVERYONE can get involved in.
Why using LEGO in a team-building event is a genius idea!
It'll saves you uddles of time and money!
Designing an effective team building event takes a lot of time… I mean A LOT of time!
IN-HOUSE - Looking to host an event yourself in-house?
If you’re going to host a team building event in-house, you are often reliant an event that caters for the masses and relies on 'fun' being the top priority. If you want more, they you'll need someone to design it for you. Even with an in-house training team, they still need to spend hours consulting, designing and creating the event. This all has a cost to it.... a cost that would massively out way the cost if you chose to invest in this predesigned event.
FREELANCERS - Looking to host a team-building event with lots of different clients?
As a trainer or facilitator you may well be involved in hosting team-building events for lots of different clients. You don't need telling how long it takes to design these events... and resources that go along with them too! Having this pre-designed, flexible event at your fingertips will save you many hours and lots of money too!
I have suggested three options for how to run the event… (But remember to add in extra time for breaks and lunch!) 2–3 hours 3–4 hours 5–6 hours
I’ve used a team of ten to demonstrate the event, but it can be run with any number of people. You will need to adjust timings and resources accordingly.
Because the team will be working on things together, and building LEGO®, you will need tables available. I find clusters of tables work well. Some trainers like the ‘open’ chair semi-circle approach with breakout tables, however I find this makes people feel exposed, and from a practical point of view doesn’t allow for anywhere to put drinks or write notes etc.
YES, and when you buy the event, you’ll get a 20% discount code for the map!
NO, you don’t. but you should have a good idea of what LEGO® Serious Play® is and how to facilitate it. If you’re interested here’s a cost effective online course that gives you all you need: https://bit.ly/Intro-to-lsp
No. You’re purchasing HOW to run the event along with additional downloadable resources. You’ll need to assess how much LEGO® you require depending on the amount of people you have at your event.
Yes. All the videos have subtitles in both English and Spanish.
