Welcome to Your Future Impact online mini-courses which have been designed to help you develop your employability skills.

In the near future, in 3 or 4 years, up to 65% of jobs will be new to the world of work. Technology is shaking things up and rewriting the way we do business. Coronavirus has only accelerated those trends.

Preparing yourself for jobs where we don't know what they will be and with new skills requirements, means taking a completely new approach to planning your future. Knowing where you are going, in terms of your qualification route and gaining vital work skills, will help you to be prepared for a range of the new jobs as they are created. Helping you to be ahead of these developments, is why this course was created.

This programme is the second in the series and looks at the topic of Qualifications and Vital Work Skills. It is designed to get you to ask questions about your skills, what skills and qualifications you need to improve on and how to go about doing this.

The aim of this course is to: help you prepare yourself for the world of work by understanding the skills and qualifications you need to develop for the future. 

Outcomes

By the end of this course you will be able to:

Andrew Roberts-Wray

Andrew Roberts-Wray is the owner of Future Thinkers Educational Consulting and Educational Consultant to Your Future Impact and The Young People Index®. Andrew’s early career was in marketing and communications. He switched to teaching, quickly becoming a Headteacher. After 17 years as a Head, Andrew decided to fulfil his personal mission of helping bridge the gap between education and the world of work by running his own coaching and consultancy business. He became a qualified careers adviser in 2020.

Helen Rivero

MSc, MCIPD

Helen Rivero is the Founder of Your Future Impact and Co-creator of The Young People Index®. As a Chartered member of the CIPD, Helen brings a wealth of diverse HR, learning and development experience; including manufacturing, aerospace, FMCG, service and education sectors. Having successfully achieved her full CIPD qualification and MSc in Human Resource Management, Helen’s passion is about helping people reach their full potential by understanding who they are and becoming more self aware, primarily working in schools, helping young people develop the skills they need for the world of world.
