In this course you start to understand and use MS Excel.  You will enter and format data, put in simple calculations, use the Sum and AutoSum functions and copy your formula across columns and rows.

Let's look at the Aims and Outcomes

The aim of this course is to: give the first steps to using Excel. It will give the skills and understanding to develop a working spreadsheet and a solid grounding to build knowledge


Outcomes

By the end of the course you will be able to:

  1. Enter Data and move around the worksheet
  2. Format Data to access the information on the spread sheet easily
  3. Put in simple formula and understand the 4 rules
  4. Copy formula and understand Relative Cell Referencing
  5. Use the Sum and AutoSum functions to add ranges of cells
